I’m Dr. Nika Gueci, a well-being expert and thought leader dedicated to helping organizations create happy, healthy work cultures. With a rich background in higher education and a passion for employee health, I bring a unique blend of expertise to startups and small-to-medium businesses looking to prioritize well-being.
As the Executive Director of Arizona State University's Center for Mindfulness, Compassion, and Resilience from 2017–2024, I led scalable well-being efforts that positively impacted countless lives. Under my leadership, the Center reached over 40,000 students, faculty, and community members through more than 1,000 events, presentations, and Think Tanks. My work focused on integrating resilience strategies into organizational cultures through customized workshops, presentations, and policy recommendations.
My commitment to well-being extends beyond academia. I actively collaborate with government and community-based agencies to enhance community wellness, serving on the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce Wellness A to Z committee, the Arizona Veterinary Medical Association Wellness Taskforce, and co-chairing the Mental Health and Well-Being Committee in the Health Improvement Plan for the Arizona Department of Health Services.
My expertise has been recognized by prestigious institutions, leading to collaborations with Mayo Clinic. There, I developed a Health and Wellness online series reaching over 4,000 learners and taught an annual elective course at their Alix School of Medicine. My dedication to workplace well-being is further evidenced by the Gold-Level Healthy Arizona Worksite Award, which my team received for seven consecutive years from Maricopa Public Health.
An expert speaker with over 1,000 presentations delivered both in-person and virtually, I have shared invaluable insights on well-being and resilience in the workplace. In 2023, I was recognized as a Top 50 Female Leader in Arizona, further cementing my status as a thought leader in my field.
